Learn the cube with Jeco, a top competitor who has taught over 70 students in Hong Kong in the past year, from first solve to first competition. For ages 3 to adult, in English or Cantonese.
I am a speedcuber from Hong Kong. I started when I was nine, and I'm 18 now. I've been competing in official WCA competitions since 2019, with 11 competitions so far. My strongest event is the 4×4, where I rank 11th in Hong Kong.
When I was a kid learning the cube, I couldn't find anyone to coach me. I teach today so the next generation has the guidance I never had, and to help the sport grow by bringing this hobby to more people. Over the past year I've taught more than 70 students, in English and Cantonese.
Currently a student at the University of Hong Kong.
Graduated from King George V School.
Lessons are taught in whichever your child prefers.
These are my personal records from World Cube Association competitions, timed and judged officially. Anyone can check them on my WCA profile.

What kids take away from learning the cube goes well beyond the cube itself.
A cube fits in a pocket and needs no battery. It gives kids something to reach for in the car, at a restaurant or after school that isn't a screen.
Every solve is about spotting patterns and planning ahead. Kids practise breaking one big problem into small steps they can handle.
Solving a cube looks impossible until the day they do it. That first solve, and every personal best after it, is something they earned themselves.
Turning a cube is absorbing and calming. It gives busy hands and a busy mind somewhere to settle after a long school day.
Getting faster takes practice. Kids learn to stick with something hard and to try again after a mistake.
Learning move sequences until the hands know them by heart exercises memory and hand-eye coordination together.
Rubik's Cube lessons and tutoring in Hong Kong, 1-to-1 or in small classes. From age 3 to adult, every student starts where they are. Some have never finished a side; some already solve it and want to get fast.
Learn how the cube actually works, then solve it layer by layer with a beginner method that sticks. The goal: a full solve, on their own, without notes.
Finger tricks, look-ahead and the CFOP method that most speedcubers use. We time every session so kids can watch their own average drop.
How official WCA competitions run: inspection time, timers, judging and nerves. Plus other events like 2×2, 4×4 and bigger cubes for kids who want more.
Feel free to message me if you want the classes to be held in another location.
I teach students from age 3 up to adults. Younger children start with how the cube moves before learning a full solve.
No. Complete beginners start at the first stage and work towards solving the cube on their own. Students who can already solve it go straight to getting faster.
Lessons are at HKU University Hall on Hong Kong Island. Message me if you would like classes in another location. Online lessons are also available.
Both. You can choose 1-to-1 coaching, a small group class, or online lessons.
English or Cantonese, whichever the student is more comfortable with.
Tap the WhatsApp button on this page and tell me your child's age and whether they can already solve the cube. I'll suggest where to start.
